I need a reasonably priced but dependable gas chain saw?

I have many trees on my property ( 3"-18") dia. I need a dependable yet not over priced gas chain saw to clear some trees for better tree growth. I have almost no experience with a chain saw and have read reviews on several brands, but it is so confusing trying to pick one. I am looking for ease of use, easy starting and maintenance. Either a 14"or 16" preferred Any Paul Bunyan's out there have a favorite saw?
