What is the best way to get to Fort Myers?

I am thinking about driving to Fort Myers, Florida with my family for a family vacation. I am from Toronto, Ontario and we usually go on Interstate 65. Is that the best way to go there? What is also the most scenic way to get there? I am also wanting to go to Busch Gardens, Seaworld, and Aquatica. Is that a good idea? What are some other things in Fort Myers that is fun for a family with 2 children ages 9-14?
