What do it mean when a guy calls you a "thick redbone"?

Some dude who hangs out around my house whistled at me today when I was walking home from school and was like "dats whats up, finally a thick redbone". I hate being hollered at so I sped up to my house. Was that an insult? Was he calling me fat or something?
