Is there a need for men to be involved in this kind of work?

First of all I do not think raising awareness of violence against women is feminist work Just as I don't feel raising awareness about violence against men makes someone a misogynist. Do I think there needs to be men involved in bringing attention to the problem, yes and women need to be involved in bringing attention to violence on men. We need to all work together to prevent any form of abuse. As for the Vasectomy thing I find that bizarre! As a mom of 2 boys I see a big difference in birth control and a vasectomy. I wouldn't recommend a tubal ligation to a young woman why a vasectomy to a young man. There is a difference between birth control and permanency (vasectomy may be reversible but that doesn't always work)
