MY BETTA FISH IS SICK! PLEASE help me!!!!!!?

I have taken home my schools blue male betta fish for the holidays, his name is Winston. I have been taking care of him fine, feeding him some dry shrimp brine twice a day, making sure his water is clean and not too cold, making sure he has some light and music during the day when I am not around and everything. But this morning when i was feeding him a little bit for breakfast he started to eat normally, but then when i looked away to take the bed sheets off my bed and looked back over again, i saw this little pink organ like thing sticking out. its dangling from between his two front fins in a little long line and then it is like a ball of yarn except thicker and pink. it is a very tiny ball. i am really afraid that this is one of his intestines or something, and i was really treating him fine, just like the school gave me directions to do! Please help me! Is he going to die? What should I do!!??

If I don't receive a tax bill, who's fault is it?

Hello, My mother ped away in 08. I never thought of paying her real estate taxes last year. I was at my mother's house daily remodeling it. Apparently the mailman knew no one was living at the house and didn't leave the real estate tax bills that are in BOTH my mother's and my name. Shouldn't the mailman or the courthouse forwarded the tax bill to MY residence? I'm uming the bill went back to the sender? Since my name was listed on the envelope beneath my mothers shouldn't they have forwarded the bills to my residence. The people I'm now renting my mother's house to gave me the tax bill that states I owe like $200 in late penalties that they just received. My 8 week old was exceptionally hard to wake up today. Anybody have this problem?

She was napping in her car seat when I noticed she hadn't fidgeted in a few minutes so I went to check on her. I couldn't tell if she was breathing so I stroked her cheek & got no response. My instincts went into overdrive, I started yelling her name while getting her out of the car seat - no response. I stood up & bounced her while singing and making noises and she opened her eyes, fussed a bit, but went almost immediately back to sleep! I was so terrified (thought I was witnessing SIDS) that I got her naked, and poured cold water on her tummy. She was then fully awake and bawling, thank goodness. After I got her calmed down, she was completely normal. She was alert, responsive, she ate like usual, she pooped, she even smiled at me! But, I've been up all night and I'm terrified that she'll stop breathing. Has anybody experienced something similar? Before you become alarmed: I called the pediatrician and she said that b/c the baby's color was good then she was breathing and doesn't need to go to the ER. Thank you!

How often do upper respiratory infections occur with people taking Enbrel?

I have been on enbrel now for 7 years, 50 mg twice weekly. I have noticed an increase in the frequency of upper resp infections. Usually starts with sore throat, progresses to phlegm, sinus pain and sometimes ear pain and last symptom is persistent cough for 2-3 days. Over the counter stuff eases symptoms but i have had antibiotics when it gets severe. I've noticed that i get upper resp infections (only.. my body feels fine) at least 3-4 times per year... So far, yearly blood work is good.. anyone experiencing similar symptoms while on Enbrel? thanks

C-sec worry..??

i also had to have an emergency c section. i remember the epidural wasnt bad at all. maybe because i was relieved that the contractions would go away. haha. they shaved the incision area again and after the epi, they prepped the room and let it set in a little bit. then they rolled me down to the or and moved me to the or table. then they put the curtain up by my face and strapped my arms down to the table. they rubbed that orange stuff on my belly to clean it and then i remember they pumped me with more medicine so that i wouldnt feel anything. the dr poked my to see if i felt anything and i didnt so she started to cut. and i felt the cutting (well the pressure) and pulling the baby out was the worst (if you dont remember the unbelievable pressure on your organs and the loss of breath). after the baby was out, they cleaned him off and gave me a peek and took him away. they stitched me up and moved me to another bed and rolled me to recovery where i layed for about an hour or two. then they took me to my room and i went to sleep. the only part that stinks about the section is not being able to move for a few days afterwards and the extended stay in the hospital and not being able to keep the baby in the room because you cant move because of the unbearable pain from the incision. coming home was the worst and the recovery for the next two or three weeks was bad. even now (7 months later) i still get a phantom pain in my incision and it really hurts sometimes (only for a second or two). well, thats my c section from top to bottom, hope all goes well for you. congrats!

But then I got one last night that I just can't figure out. I know it's a scam because it's written in typical broken English and the person claims to be a "man of God" but I just can't deduce where the scam lies and I'm curious. The amount I needed was $800. This man said he would send me a check or money order for some higher amount. Then he said cash it, keep the $800, and he will contact me about who to wire the remainder to. So what's the deal here? How am I being duped? Because it sounds too good to be true.

How do I fix a jammed or dislocated finger?

About 4 months ago I hit a stone and injured my knukles. A couple of days later I noticed that two of my knukles were swollen and that my small finger seemed jammed. I didn't touch it (besides putting ice) because I tought it would heal. But to this day the upper side of my small finger's knukle swells and it's as if my little finger is jammed. I pull on it, it cracks sometimes but never comes back in its place. I always have a small bump on top of my knukle. I went to the chiro but lost hope ( was costing 50$ per treatment). Made ha mea bean soup and looks like maggots?

I just made ham and bean soup from the left over ham from Christmas. I had put the trimmings and bone into the freezer the night of Christmas dinner. I put the frozen bone and meat into the refrigerator 2 days ago to thaw it. I soaked the navy beans over night in a pan with a lid and boiled the bone and meat for about a 1/2 hour before straining the 'ham water' into another pot. I shredded the edible meat by hand and used the broth from the 'ham water' and started to boil/simmer that with the ham bone and beans. Anyway, its done now and seems to taste great. My question is...I see these little tiny things in the soup that look like cooked maggots. I took some out and they 'smear' between my fingers like a bean. What is it?? I didn't see any maggots when preparing and I would have no idea how they would have even gotten in it..but who knows?? Please let me know that what it could be. This is suppose to be dinner tonight with cornbread. And if they are maggots, obviously we are not eating it. OR..if it is something from the beans, that look like maggots..then I would feel better if someone could say so. Thanks for your help!

33 gal fish tank what fish can go with mollies?

I have a 33 gallon long fish tank that has no fish in it. I want to get black mollies but I want more than that. Im thinking of getting 3 black mollies (2f and 1m) but have no clue what else to get. I've been to the Birmingham NEC lots of times to see different shows and always love the vibrant atmosphere - lots of people, fun, energy and things going on. How could I possibly get into this type of work? Admittedly I've no experience in this sector as I currently work in manufacturing which I find really boring, no fun and far too predictable. This is why I want to make a major transition in my life into something completely different and completely unrelated to manufacturing, warehousing or factory work. I'm more than willing to do voluntary work to get a feel for jobs and gain invaluable experience if I can clinch myself something. I will also say I'm not 100% knowledgeable about what is available in the events industry, so apologies for if this sounds a bit vague or untargeted. I just want to work at big events in some way, being amid all the vibrancy and energy. How can I do this (or make inroads into it) from the point of a complete novice without experience? Also from my description, what types of entry-level positions do you think I could look at - not security roles or litter pickers, actually in events meeting visitors, having fun and being a part of what's going on? Yada Yada I really couldn't care less, but these are the things the media will not let go. Sims 2 exiting after loading screen!!!!!!!!!!?

I have the sims 2 base game (and the Glamour Life Stuff expansion pack) and it has always worked fine. Then, i think i was trying to download custom content from another site and i changed the 'open with' setting, and it wouldnt open the actual game (hard to explain). So I restored my comp to the day b4, when i wasn't having problems. It worked fine, so then i tried to open the game. It did open it this time, but only so far. I got past the maxis and ea logos, and demo ppl at the beginning, but after it was loaded about half way at the loading screen, it completely exited out with no error messege or anything. I tried to restart my computer, but everytime the same thing happened!!!! i dont wanna have to uninstall it and reinstall it because i have many hours of custom content downloads. Baseboards before or after skimcoating?

It's not easy to make a whole wall totally level by skim-coating it. If it pretty close and the gaps at the bottom aren't too bad, a thin layer of caulk is applied to the top of the baseboard to hide any minor imperfections. This is common practice. It is also very possible that the baseboard is a little warped. Either way, once its nailed to the wall and caulked, you probably wouldn't know the difference if you hadn't seen the project before it was finished. Good luck.

Yesterday I saw yellow spots on my horse's legs and I just thought it might be small pieces of hay. Then today I saw that they were still on him, so I razored the bots of his legs in the pasture. so here in SC(Easley,SC) gas is $2.60...SC is supposedly the cheapest in the country. But this has been happenin a lot since the storm and because of this the gas will more than likely be gone by morning or within a few hours. If the mites are coming in with the crickets you should see them in the tubs that they come in. If they are in the cricket tubs change your supplier. Check your substrate too they might be coming in in that. Also if you use newspaper that can sometimes get paper mites. I get them occasionally with my lizards. Thoroughly scrub his tank with reptile disinfectant. Every nook and cranny and the lizard too! Give him a bath (probably not in disinfectant) and make sure he's not harbouring any in his armpits. Hopefully that should get rid of the little blighters for good!
